Die water in die meer is vlak en souter as gemiddeld en is nie heeltemal van die see geskei nie, aangesien seewater die meer tydens hoogwater deur ondergrondse krake vul. Nie ver van die meer af is daar 160 meter ho\u00eb kranse vanwaar jy dolfyne kan sien.
