Tribunj is a small town place on the\u00a0Adriatic coastline<\/strong>. The population is no bigger than 1500 people. Very close there are\u00a0two national parks<\/strong>, National Park Krka\u00a0and National Park\u00a0<\/span>Kornati.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is a place known for it’s\u00a0traditional Mediterranean\u00a0way<\/b>\u00a0of living which dates long back into history.<\/p>\n

When you first arrive in Tribunj you will notice a small bridge, in which is placed modern marina <\/strong>(Marina Tribunj).<\/p>\n

The oldest part is placed on the foot of a little hill (the height of which is no more than 60 m). From that hill you are able to see all of Tribunj and its surrounding places (Vodice, Srima, Prvi\u0107, Kaprije, Kornati, \u0160ibenik). On the top of the hill there is an old church of\u00a0St. Nicholas<\/strong>, dating to 17th century. St. Nicholas, is believed to be the protector.<\/p>\n

In Tribunj there is a couple of\u00a0beautiful\u00a0beaches<\/b>,<\/p>\n

some are man-made, some stone ones and some are concrete ones. Bristak beach is placed between Tribunj and Vodice. Zamalin beach is on the west side of Tribunj.<\/p>\n

There are a lot of little uninhabited islands close to the shore.<\/p>\n

Tribunj is known for its fishing and olive oil making tradition. There are also quite a few fine\u00a0vine makers<\/strong>\u00a0in the area.
\nHere you’ll not only enjoy the\u00a0beautiful nature<\/strong>\u00a0that surrounds you, but also a fine selection of various\u00a0specialties<\/b>\u00a0made of fresh\u00a0fish<\/strong>\u00a0and organically grown\u00a0vegetables<\/strong>. It is very easy to purchase fish that was just fished out of the sea, the best time to do that is in the evening,when fishermen come back from all day fishing, or early in the morning in the local market place.<\/p>\n

It is suitable for young people, that want to go out in the evenings. There are a couple of\u00a0night clubs in the town of Vodice<\/strong>, which is only 4 km from Tribunj. The\u00a0first bigger town, \u0160ibenik<\/strong>, is only 14 km away, and there are a lot of places to go out there too.
\nFor an afternoon\u00a0relaxation<\/strong>\u00a0there are a lot of coffee places all over the coastline.<\/p>\n

If you are into\u00a0scuba diving, excursion, tuna fishing, water skiing, paragliding, mountain biking\u00a0or simply romantic walks on the beach<\/b>\u00a0Tribunj has all that to offer too.
