Esto se refiere, en particular, a la parte del lago donde se encuentra el lodo medicinal. El agua del lago es poco profunda y m\u00e1s salada de lo habitual, y no est\u00e1 completamente separada del mar, ya que el agua del mar lo llena durante la marea alta a trav\u00e9s de grietas subterr\u00e1neas. No muy lejos del lago hay acantilados de 160 metros de altura desde los que se pueden avistar delfines.
