Kornati National Park
Il Kornati L'arcipelago della Croazia, noto anche come Isole Stomorski, si trova nella parte settentrionale della Dalmazia, a sud di Zara e ad ovest di Sebenico, nella regione di Sebenico e Tenin. Con 35 km di lunghezza e 140 isole, alcune grandi, alcune piccole, in un'area marina di circa 320 km quadrati, le Kornati sono l'arcipelago più denso del Mediterraneo. Da nord-ovest a sud-est (dall'isola di Balabra a Samograd), e da nord-est a sud-ovest (da Gangarol a Mana) si estendono per 13 km (8 miglia). Il nome dell'arcipelago è la forma plurale del nome della più grande isola, chiamata Kornat.
There are several ways to arrive at the Kornati Islands. The easiest and most popular way to reach the Kornati Islands is by boat. Visitors can take a boat from many places like Biograd na Moru, Zadar, Tribunj, Vodice, Murter or rent a boat from many companies that offer this service. There are also many private boat trips to the islands. It is important to say that most of this companies are open in season (Jun – September).
It is important to note that the Kornati Islands are a national park, and visitors must pay an entrance fee to access the islands. The fee can be paid at the park entrance or at the park office in the nearby town of Murter.
