Door veel dingen is het niet alleen uniek in de Kroatische architectuur, maar ook in Europa: het is volledig gebouwd van steen, er is geen ander materiaal gebruikt; het is uniek door de dappere structuur van stenen platen en ribben, zonder bindmateriaal.
