Em muitos aspectos, ela se destaca n\u00e3o s\u00f3 na arquitetura croata, mas tamb\u00e9m na europeia: \u00e9 inteiramente constru\u00edda em pedra, sem a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de qualquer outro material; e se distingue pela ousada estrutura de lajes e nervuras de pedra, sem qualquer material de liga\u00e7\u00e3o.
